About BRICS
BRICS is a global community of countries that share common views of economic development and global affairs based on mutual respect and balance.

While BRICS is not a military or political bloc, its participants do share values, interests and strategic projects, making it an increasingly attractive conduit for global cooperation.

As a result, participation of new countries in BRICS is growing rapidly. As of 2025 the BRICS community (members, partners and candidates) account for 51% of global GDP (by PPP) and 63% of global population.

BRICS global share has grown and will continue to grow rapidly in the coming decades.
This disproportionate overall share of the BRICS community in the global growth leads to:
  • Rapid growth of new markets and new opportunities in existing markets
  • Exploding middle class with corresponding opportunities across consumer markets
  • Accelerated development and adoption of new innovative technologies with corresponding growth in B2B markets and across supply chains
  • New opportunities in infrastructure, logistics and other segments that support this explosive growth
  • New scope of education, innovation and cultural exchange
